Who Owned Baseball – July 4, 2019 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVPs) + 2019

Let’s see owned baseball on July 4, 2019
Earning Full WOBs:
Luis Castillo took a no hitter into the 7th and finished with 7 2/3 scoreless one hit innings, striking out 9 Brewers for the 1-0 final.
Lance Lynn worked out of jam after jam, holding the Angels to 2 runs over 7 innings to earn the 9-3 decision for the Rangers.
Marcus Semien reached base 3 times, including 2 homers, driving in 5 runs as the red hot A’s won again, 7-2, over Minnesota,
Dansby Swanson hit a double and two homers, driving in 5, to help the Braves double up the Phillies, 12-6.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Starlin Castro collected 3 hits, including a double, in the Marlins 5-2 loss to Washington.
Yonny Chirinos threw 7 solid innings, striking out 5 Yankees and giving up 3 runs. The wild 8-4 game was a bullpen affair lost by the Rays.
Danny Jansen homered twice and added another hit, driving in 5, but the Blue Jays bullpen dropped the 8-7 game to the Red Sox.
Brandon Woodruff allowed an early run and shut the Reds out for the rest of his 6 innings of work. That run was one too many as the Brewers were blanked, 1-0.

Who Owned Baseball September 1, 2018 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2018 #WOB

Luis Castillo struck out 11 Cardinals over 6 2/3 shutout innings, giving up 2 hits as the Reds won, 4-0.
Dansby Swanson doubled and then in the comeback rally hit a key 8th inning homer to propel the Braves past Pittsburgh, 5-3.
Masahiro Tanaka allowed 1 run over 7 innings and worked out of some tight jams to earn the 2-1 decision for the Yankees over Detroit.
Brett Phillips homered, walked, doubled, stole a bag and was on base when the Royals walked off against the Orioles with a homer to a 5-4 final.
They all owned baseball on September 1, 2018

Who Owned Baseball September 7, 2016 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2016 #WOB Standings

Jharel Cotton had a memorable big league, pitching into the 7th, finishing with 2 hits, and 1 run over 6 1/3 innings, earning the 4-1 decision for Oakland over the Angels.
Matt Garza held the mighty Cubs to 3 hits and 1 run over 6 innings. He did not get the victory but the Brewers did, 2-1.
Adam Lind reached base 3 times, homering twice including a grand slam to lead the Mariners past Texas, 8-3.
Jonathan Villar provided all of Milwaukee’s offense with a pair of solo homers. But it was enough to beat the Cubs, 2-1.
They all owned baseball on September 7, 2016.
