Gerrit Cole struck out 10 Brewers in 7 innings, allowing 1 run. He did not get the decision but the Pirates walked off the 3-2 final in extra innings.

Alex Meyer took a no hitter into the 6th and finished with 7 innings of 1 hit ball, striking out 7 Nationals while the Angels rolled to a 7-0 final.

Who Owned Baseball June 20, 2017 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2016 #WOB Standings

Corey Seager hit 3 homers and added a fourth hit, driving in 6 as the Dodgers won a 12-0 laugher against the Mets.

Manny Machado collected 11 total bases with his 4 hits including 2 homers as the Orioles squeaked past Cleveland, 6-5.

Brandon McCarthy blanked the Mets over 6 innings of 4 hit shutout ball to earn the decision in the Dodgers 12-0 blow out.

Chris Sale pitched into the 9th, finishing with 10 strikeouts over 8 1/3 innings earning the 8-3 win for Boston over Kansas City.

Mike Zunino hit a go ahead 2 run homer and added a second one in the Mariners 6-2 victory over the Tigers.

Corey Kluber threw a complete game 3 hit shutout, striking out 11 Orioles as the Indians stampeded to an 11-0 final.

Cody Bellinger got 3 hits including 2 homers the Dodgers took the 10-6 slugfest from the Mets.

R. A. Dickey pitched 7 shutout innings, striking out 6 Giants and earning the 9-0 decision for the Braves,

Who Owned Baseball June 18, 2017 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2016 #WOB Standings

Nolan Arenado finished the cycle in the most dramatic way, with a come from behind walk off 3 run homer in the bottom of the 9th to give the Rockies a stunning 7-5 victory over San Francisco.

Jimmy Nelson went the distance, giving up 6 hits and 1 run while striking out 10 Padres to earn the 2-1 decision for Milwaukee.

Edwin Encarnacion got 3 hits, including 2 homers, and drove in 5 to help the Indians take sole possession of first place by topping Minnesota, 5-2.

Jacob Faria struck out 9 Tigers in 7 innings, giving up 1 run as the Rays romped, 9-1.

Who Owned Baseball June 17, 2017 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2016 #WOB Standings

Jose Ramirez went 3 for 5 with 2 homers in the opening game then doubled and singled in the night cap as the Indians swept the double header from Minnesota, 9-3 and 6-2, to leap frog into first place.

Yangervis Solarte reached base 3 times, homered twice including a 2 run shot in the 10th as the Padres won a wild 7-5 game in 11 over the Brewers.

Alex Meyer threw 6 shutout innings, allowing 2 hits and striking out 9 Kansas City batters as the Angels took the 9-0 laugher.

Dinelson Lamet struck out 12 Brewers in 6 innings, walking none. He did not get the decision but the Padres triumphed in extra innings, 7-5.
