Let’s see owned baseball on July 2, 2019
Earning Full WOBs:
Rafael Devers went 4 for 5 with 2 homers and 6 RBI to give the travel weary Red Sox a much needed 10-6 victory.
Evan Longoria homered twice, singled and doubled as the Giants rolled to a 10-4 beating of the Padres.
Charlie Morton struck out 12 Orioles in 7 innings, giving up a single run as the Rays won, 6-3.
Aaron Nola threw 8 scoreless innings, allowing 4 hits and recording 8 strikeouts as the Phillies blanked the Braves, 2-0.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Jason Castro hit a pair of homers and added another hit but the Twins were stopped by Oakland, 8-6.
Dallas Keuchel held the Phillies to 2 runs over 7 solid innings. The Braves bats were shutout in the 2-0 final.
José Martínez slammed 2 home runs but the Cardinals were edged by the Mariners, 5-4.
James Paxton worked out of jam after jam over 6 innings, allowing just 1 run to the Mets. The Yankees bullpen would blow his lead and ultimately the 4-2 game.

Ronald Acuña Jr. reached base 4 times, including a pair of solo homers, to lead Atlanta past San Francisco, 4-1.
Rafael Devers went 3 for 5 with a homer, 3 RBI and a stolen base to power the Red Sox to a 12-2 laugher in Toronto.
Mike Minor struck out 11 Mariners in 6 innings, allowing 2 runs as the Rangers held on to a 10-9 win.
Mike Soroka threw 8 innings, allowing 2 hits and 1 run, walking none and striking out 7 Giants for the Braves 4-1 victory.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Hanser Alberto homered twice, added two more hits, stole a base and scored 3 runs, but the Orioles bullpen collapsed against the Yankees, 10-7.
Felix Peña came into the game in the second and threw 5 frames, allowing 1 run and striking out 3 Twins. The Angels fell, 3-1.
Anthony Rendon got on base 4 times, including a homer, but the Nationals lost again, this time 5-3 to the Mets.
Luke Weaver threw 6 innings, striking out 7 and no walks and 2 runs, but took the hard luck 2-1 Arizona loss in San Diego.

Who Owns October (#WOO) Tallies Updated For October 18, 2018

A former Cy Young Award winner who used to pitch for the Tigers came up huge today. It just was not the one everyone was expecting.
David Price is finally a post season winner, Rafael Devers powered the Sox and the Red Sox are World Series bound.
So who owned October?
Each winning team for every post season game gets a pitcher and a hitter who earn a full WOO (Who Owns October.)
And at my discretion, I award a 1/2 WOO’S to a worthy player on the losing team.
At the end of the post season, we will see who had the highest WOO total as a pitcher and a hitter.

ALCS Game 5:
Receiving 1 WOO
Rafael Devers broke the Astros back with a 3 run homer that led the Red Sox to a pennant winning 4-1 victory.
David Price finally won a post season start, throwing 6 shutout frames, striking out 9 Astros as the Red Sox clinched the game and the series, 4-1.
Receiving 1/2 WOO
Marwin Gonzalez homered to provide the lone offensive highlight for the Astros in their 4-1 loss to Boston.
Justin Verlander was solid through 5 innings but allowed a 3 run homer in the 6th and the Astros were eliminated by Boston, 4-1.

Jacob deGrom capped off a historically great season with 8 shutout innings, striking out 10 Braves and earning his 10th win for the Mets with a 3-0 final.
Shane Bieber tuned up for the Cleveland playoff run with 6 shutout innings, striking out 9 White Sox and earning the 10-2 decision.
Victor Robles went 4 for 5 with a homer and 5 RBI to help Washington beat Miami 9-3.
Rafael Devers homered twice, singled and doubled in Boston’s 19-3 trashing of the Orioles in game 1 of a double header. He added a double and a walk in the 10-3 nightcap loss.

Rafael Devers went 5 for 5 including a 2 out first inning grand slam that set the tone for the Red Sox wild 11-0 blanking of the Yankees.
Chris Sale held the Yankees to 1 hit over 7 shutout innings, striking out 11, as the Red Sox rolled to an 11-0 final.
Nick Markakis hit a grand slam and an RBI double to push first place Atlanta past St. Louis, 11-4.
German Marquez allowed 2 hits, 1 run and struck out 9 Dodgers over 8 innings to give the Rockies a 3-1 victory.

Who Owned Baseball August 14, 2017 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2017 #WOB Standings

Chad Bettis made his first start of the year after testicular cancer treatment count. He threw 7 shutout innings, striking out a pair of Braves. He did not get the decision but the Rockies went on to win, 3-0.
Kevin Gausman threw 7 strong innings, giving up 2 runs as Baltimore slammed Seattle, 11-3.
Cory Spangenberg reached base 4 times, homered, drove in 3 and stole a base in the Padres 7-4 victory over Philadelphia.
Edwin Encarnacion homered twice, driving in 4 and walked to help the Indians beat the Red Sox, 7-3.

Midseason Top 100 MLB Prospect Rankings Analysis (21-30)
Below you can find my analysis for the prospects ranked between 21-30 for the 2016 midseason top prospect list. I will be posting daily analysis of every player listed in the top 100, so please follow my blog and other social media for updates.
- Orlando Arcia (MIL, 21 Years Old, SS): The smooth-fielding shortstop has struggled a little during the 2016 season, but his future remains bright. In 382 plate appearances at Triple-A, Arcia is batting .269, with seven home runs, 44 RBIs, 56 runs, 13 stolen bases, .325 OBP, and a .407 slugging percentage. He still profiles as an above average shortstop in the big leagues, but I’m not convinced he is going to be an elite fantasy baseball player. He has the ceiling to produce 15-20 stolen bases, .270 BA, 10-15 home runs, and a .340 OBP once he reaches the bigs. If he does put up those numbers, I retract my statement about his fantasy baseball value.

The Top 100 MLB Prospects In 2015
Kris Bryant is about as sure of a prospect there has been in the last 5 years. Will the Cubs let him start the year in 2015, or will they send him down until the end of April to save service time. All you need to know about the franchises desire to win it all this campaign may be based on this decision. The young slugger had 40 HRs in the Minor League’s last year.

Top 100 Prospects
1-30
These are my top 100 prospects in baseball. There is a lot of talent in the minor leagues right now across almost all levels. Yoan Moncada signed after I wrote this but he would slot in the 8th slot right ahead of Joey Gallo and I do believe Moncada will be a stud.
1. Kris Bryant 3B CHC – He will hit for power and hit for a high average at what is an underrated position. He was the 2nd overall pick in 2013 and has the looks of a perennial all star.
2. Carlos Correa SS Hou- He was having a very nice season at the best hitters park in the minors in Lancaster before he broke his leg. I think he can stay at SS with almost all five tools with power rapidly emerging. He’s the future face of the Astros.
3. Corey Seager SS LAD- There are people who think he may get too big for SS and have to transfer to 3B but I think he has much more value at SS and can stick there for at least a few years. He should have an elite bat with plus plus power. Possibly the next Troy Tulowitzki with a slightly worse glove.
