Noah Syndergaard finished a frustrating Mets season with a wonderful complete game 5 hit shutout, blanking the Marlins 1-0.
Jefry Marte reached base 3 times, including a homer and was on base for the walk off homer to end the Angels seasons with a 5-4 win over the A’s.

Johnny Field homered, doubled and added a pair of singles, driving in 2 to help the Twins past the Royals, 9-6.

Randal Grichuk amassed 10 total bases with his 2 homers and a double in the wild Blue Jays 8-7 win over the Yankees.
Jon Lester threw 7 shutout innings, striking out 9 Reds, to give the Cubs a 1-0 victory.
Reynaldo Lopez did not allow a run over 7 frames as the White Sox blanked the Orioles, 2-0.

Chris Stratton threw a complete game shutout, allowing only 2 hits and striking out 7 Rockies to end the Giants losing streak with a 2-0 final.
Masahiro Tanaka continued to make a case to start the Wild Card Game by shutting out Toronto over 6 innings, striking out 8 along the way in the 11-0 Yankee laugher.
Aaron Altherr collected 4 hits, including 2 homers, driving in 5, to give the sliding Phillies a much needed 14-2 victory over Miami.
