Who Owned Baseball July 3, 2017 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2016 #WOB Standings

Stephen Strasburg threw 7 shutout innings, allowing 2 hits and striking out 6 Mets. He did not get the decision but the Nationals walked off with the 3-2 final.
Raimel Tapia got 3 hits including a go ahead homer in the 6th that proved to be the game winner in Colorado’s 5-3 victory over the Reds.
Masahiro Tanaka struck out 8 Blue Jays over 7 strong innings, allowing 1 earned run to lead the Yankees to a much needed 6-3 win.
Dustin Pedroia reached base 4 times, drove in 4 runs and made an amazing defensive play in the bottom of the 9th to help the Red Sox top Texas 7-5 in extra innings.

The Texas Rangers possess 5 of the players we have in our 51 – 100 prospects. If this team is serious about getting younger even more with trades of Alex Rios or Adrian Beltre, perhaps they can add even more to the list In a year where they have had 20+ DL stints, maybe some of these young guys will find themselves in Arlington sooner – rather than later.

To qualify for rookie status, a player must not have exceeded 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched in the Major Leagues, or accumulated more than 45 days on the active roster of a Major League club or clubs during the 25-player limit period, excluding time on the disabled list or in military service.
