Who Owned Baseball June 14, 2017 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2016 #WOB Standings

Mookie Betts singled, doubled, homered twice and made a spectacular catch to lead Boston past Philadelphia, 7-3.

Brandon Phillips collected 4 hits, driving in 3 and scoring 3 as the Braves crushed Washington, 13-2.

Francisco Liriano threw 7 strong innings, striking out 9 Rays and giving up 2 earned runs and 1 unearned run. He did not get a decision but the Blue Jays pulled out the game, 7-6.

Jhoulys Chacin allowed just 2 runs in 7 innings, striking out 4 Reds and getting the 4-2 win for San Diego.

They all owned baseball on June 14, 2017

Tyler Collins reached base 3 times, homered and drove in 3 as the Tigers clobbered division rival Cleveland, 7-1.

Marco Estrada threw 7 strong innings, allowing 1 run and kept the Yankees from the big rally as Toronto won 7-1.

Jonathan Villar went 2 for 3 with a homer and 3 RBI to help the Brewers get past St. Louis, 7-5.

Amir Garrett gave up just 2 hits and 2 runs over 7 solid innings. He did not get the decision but helped set up the Reds 4-3 extra innings victory over Pittsburgh.

They all owned baseball on May 1, 2017

Kirthmon F. Dozier – Detroit Free Press

Michael Fulmer threw 6 innings of 2 hit shutout ball. He did not get the decision as the Red Sox made a furious rally against Detroit’s bullpen but the Tigers pulled out the 6-5 victory.

Amir Garrett shutout the Cardinals over 6 scoreless frames, allowing 2 hits a 2 walks and earned the 2-0 decision for the Reds.

Nomar Mazara got 2 hits, including a homer, and drove in 6 as the Rangers took a 10-5 slugfest with Oakland.

Manuel Margot homered twice and got a walk for good measure to help the Padres get past San Francisco, 7-6.

They all owned baseball on April 7, 2017

Below you can find my analysis for the prospects ranked between 31-40 for the 2016 midseason top prospect list. Willy Adames (TB, 20 Years Old, SS): Adames has developed quite nicely over the last few seasons. At 20 years old, he is showing great success in Double-A. In 360 plate appearances, he is batting .264, with eight home runs, nine stolen bases, and a .365 OBP. After a slow 2015 season, Adames has rebounded very nicely after his promotion in 2016. He is starting to show more power, speed, and he is getting on base at a better rate. I don’t think he will ever be an elite fantasy baseball player, but he should be average-to-above average.
