Curtis Granderson homered twice off of Verlander, his old teammate, and added a walk to help Toronto double up the Astros, 6-3.
John Gant allowed 1 hit over 7 shutout innings to give the Cardinals a 4-0 victory over Cleveland.
Blake Snell took a no hitter into the 7th and finished with 1 hit and 10 strikeouts over 7 frames as the Rays blanked the Nationals, 11-0.

Mike Leake held Boston scoreless over 8 innings, allowing 3 hits will striking out 5 as Seattle rolled, 7-2.

Brandon Crawford singled, hit a pair of doubles and launched a 2 run shot off of Scherzer to give the Giants all the offense they needed to blank the Nationals, 2-0.
Curtis Granderson went 4 for 5 with a homer and 6 RBI to spark the Blue Jays 13-3 thrashing of the Orioles.
Clayton Richard took his bid to be the first Padres pitcher to throw a no hitter into the 7th. He would let up a hit with 2 outs in the 7th and finished with 7 innings, 2 hits, 1 run and 5 strikeouts to defeat the Marlins, 3-1.
Corey Kluber pitched 8 strong innings, allowing 5 hits and 2 runs while striking out 8 Tigers and helped the Indians hold onto first place with a 9-2 win.

Max Scherzer gave up one hit, an early 2 run homer, and settled down to retire the next 20 Colorado hitters, striking out 11 and earning the 6-2 decision for Washington.
Hanley Ramirez doubled and homered, driving in 3 runs, pushing Boston past Baltimore, 10-3.
Garrett Richards allowed 1 hit and 1 run over his 5 plus innings, striking out 5 Royals, winning the 5-3 game for the Angels.

Jameson Taillon threw a complete game 1 hit shutout, striking out 7 Reds and winning another game for the red hot Pirates, 5-0.
Shohei Ohtani kept up his mind boggling week by taking a perfect game into the 7th and finished with 7 shutout innings, striking out 12 Oakland batters and earning the 6-1 decision for the Angels.
Ozzie Albies doubled and homered with 2 RBI to lead the Braves over Colorado, 4-0.
Mike Trout reached base 3 times, including a homer, driving in 2, scoring 2 and stole a base to provide the Angels’ offense in Ohtani’s 6-1 masterpiece over Oakland.
