Adam Wainwright threw 6 shutout innings, striking out 9 and pushed the Cardinals into a Wild Card tie with a 5-0 blanking of the Dodgers.
Johnny Field homered, doubled and added a pair of singles, driving in 2 to help the Twins past the Royals, 9-6.
Anthony Rendon reached base 4 times, homered and drove in a pair to help the Nationals top Atlanta, 6-4.
