Miles Mikolas brought the Cardinals closer to the postseason with 7 innings of 2 hit, 1 run ball, striking out 8 Giants en route to a 9-2 decision.

Blake Snell struck out 11 Blue Jays in 6 2/3 innings, allowing no runs and earning the 5-2 victory for Tampa Bay.

Matt Kemp singled, doubled and homered, driving in 3, to help the Dodgers blank San Diego 14-0.

Tim Beckham homered twice as the Orioles shocked the Yankees, 6-3.
