The concept of geographical divisions made sense once but are obsolete now. And my concept of playoff seeding would provide a ton of drama in the AL this year.

Chris Stratton threw a complete game shutout, allowing only 2 hits and striking out 7 Rockies to end the Giants losing streak with a 2-0 final.
Masahiro Tanaka continued to make a case to start the Wild Card Game by shutting out Toronto over 6 innings, striking out 8 along the way in the 11-0 Yankee laugher.
Aaron Altherr collected 4 hits, including 2 homers, driving in 5, to give the sliding Phillies a much needed 14-2 victory over Miami.
Andrew McCutchen reached base 5 times, homered and scored a pair as the Yankees blanked the Blue Jays, 11-0.
