Giancarlo Stanton homered twice and walked twice to help the Yankees clobber the Rays, 12-1.

David Dahl got a pair of hits, including a homer for his fourth straight game, as the Rockies completed the four game sweep of the Phillies with a 5-3 final.

Ariel Jurado allowed 2 hits over 6 shutout innings, walking none as the Rangers blanked the Mariners, 2-0.

Jason Vargas threw 7 shutout innings, allowing 3 hits and struck out 6 Braves to earn the 4-1 victory for the Mets.

Christin Stewart went 3 for 4 with a walk and an RBI in the Tigers 9-3 loss to the Twins.

Carlos Santana doubled and homered but could not stop the sliding Phillies from losing again to Colorado with a 5-3 score.

Marco Gonzales threw 5 shutout innings, striking out 6 Rangers but the Mariners were blanked 2-0.

Julio Teheran allowed 1 run over 6 innings, giving up 2 hits and striking out 5 Mets, but took the hard luck 4-1 decision for the Braves.
