 Trevor Story homered 3 times to lead the first place Rockies past the Giants, 5-3.

Shohei Ohtani collected 4 hits, including 2 homers, walked and stole a base as the Angels clobbered Texas, 9-3.

Sandy Alcantara held the Phillies scoreless over 7 innings, giving up 3 hits as the Marlins won, 2-1.

Corey Kluber struck out 10 Royals in 6 2/3 innings, giving up 2 hits and 1 run to earn the 3-1 decision for the Indians.

Yandy Diaz reached base 4 times, including a homer, 2 RBI and 3 runs scored in the Indians 9-3 beating of Kansas City.

Marcell Ozuna homered twice, as the Cardinals took the 11-8 slugfest with Washington.

Justin Verlander threw 7 strong innings, striking out 8 Twins while letting up just 3 hits and 1 run to win the 5-2 game for Houston.

Robbie Ray threw a shutout into the 7th, finishing with 10 strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings as Arizona blanked San Diego, 6-0.
