Edwin Encarnacion got 3 hits, including 2 homers, and drove in 5 to help the Indians take sole possession of first place by topping Minnesota, 5-2.

Jacob Faria struck out 9 Tigers in 7 innings, giving up 1 run as the Rays romped, 9-1.

Alex Meyer threw 6 shutout innings, allowing 2 hits and striking out 9 Kansas City batters as the Angels took the 9-0 laugher.

Dinelson Lamet struck out 12 Brewers in 6 innings, walking none. He did not get the decision but the Padres triumphed in extra innings, 7-5.

Ervin Santana threw a complete game 2 hit shutout, striking out 6 Orioles and getting the 2-0 Minnesota victory.

Clayton Kershaw went 9 innings, striking out 10 Cardinals and walking none. He didn’t let up a run until a wild pitch in the 9th. He would not get the decision but the Dodgers won in 13, 2-1.

Edwin Encarnacion hit a pair of homers, driving in 3 and scoring 3 as Cleveland held on, 8-7, in Cincinnati.

Anthony Rendon homered twice, added another hit and drove in 5 to lead the Nationals past the Mariners in a 10-1 thrashing.

Zack Greinke pitched into the 9th and struck out 12 White Sox in 8 2/3 innings and earned the 5-1 Diamondbacks victory.

Ender Inciarte collected 5 hits, drove in a run and scored another as the Braves topped Pitttsburgh, 5-2.

Michael Pineda gave the Yankees 6 1/3 strong innings, allowing 2 runs and striking out 6 Royals to get the 4-2 win.

Miguel Sano drove in 3 and scored 3 with his 4 hits, including a homer, to help Minnesota come from behind to beat Baltimore, 14-7.

Clayton Richard went the distance, allowing 5 hits and 1 run while striking out 6 Diamondbacks to earn the 5-1 Padres victory.

Kris Bryant went 3 for 3 with 2 homers and scored 4 times as the Cubs topped the surging Brewers, 13-6.

Marco Estrada struck out 11 Orioles in 7 2/3 innings, allowing a singe run and got the 3-1 decision for Toronto.

Mike Trout reached base 4 times, homered, stole a base, drove in 3 and scored 2 as the Angels mashed the Mets, 12-5.

Who Owned Baseball May 20, 2017 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2016 #WOB Standings

Avisail Garcia got 4 hits, 2 of them homers, and drove in 6 and scored 3 as the White Sox clobbered the Mariners, 16-1.

Mike Clevinger flirted with a no hitter into the 6th and finished with 7 shutout innings and struck out 8 Astros and got the 3-0 victory for Cleveland.

JT Riddle went 3 for 5 with a homer and 4 RBI to help the Marlins past the Dodgers, 10-6.

Jeff Samardzija shutout the Cardinals over 8 innings, striking out 8. He did not get the decision but the Giants won in 13 innings, 3-1.
