Ryon Healy homered and doubled, scoring 2 and driving in 2, helping the Mariners top Oakland in extra innings, 5-4.
Hunter Strickland pitched a 1-2-3 inning in the 12th, closing out his second save in as many games in the 5-4 Mariners final over the A’s.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Marcus Semien collected 3 hits, scored, drove in a run and turned a double play but it wasn’t enough as Oakland dropped the 5-4 game to Seattle in 12.
Blake Treinen retired all 6 Mariners he faced, striking out 4, but the A’s fell short in 12 innings, 5-4.

Mitch Garver went 3 for 5 with a pair of doubles and 4 RBI to lead Minnesota past Texas, 10-7.
Paul DeJong smacked a 2 run single and a 2 run homer as the Cardinals blasted the Reds, 12-5.

Chris Sale threw 6 shutout innings, allowing 2 hits and striking out 9 Tigers as the Red Sox rolled to a 9-1 final.
Zack Greinke struck out 13 Rockies in 8 innings, allowing just 2 hits and 1 run and earned the 6-1 decision for Arizona.

Ryon Healy hit a 2 run doubled and a come from behind 3 run homer that put Seattle up for good against the Rockies, 6-4.
Pablo Sandoval hit a go ahead 3 run homer, collected 2 more hits and drove in 5 altogether as the Giants took the 13-8 slugfest from St. Louis.

Luis Severino threw a complete game 5 hit shutout, striking out 10 Astros and earning the 4-0 decision for the Yankees.
Nick Hundley doubled twice, singled and homered, scoring 4 times as the Giants rolled over the Padres, 9-4.
Sean Newcomb threw 7 shutout innings, striking out 8 Mets en route to the Braves 7-0 victory.

Ryon Healy homered twice and doubled, knocking in 4 as Seattle beat up Cleveland, 10-4.
CC Sabathia allowed 1 run over 7 tense innings, striking out 4, as the Yankees completed the sweep of the Angels, 2-1.

Aaron Altherr got on base 4 times, homered and drove in 3 as Philadelphia clobbered Atlanta, 11-4.

David Price gave the Red Sox a much needed strong start, going 7 innings, allowing 1 run and 3 hits while striking out 7 Orioles en route to the 5-2 decision.
Chris Taylor reached base 4 times, stole a pair of bases and hit a dramatic come from behind grand slam in the 9th to give the Dodgers another comeback victory in Milwaukee, 10-8.
Ryon Healy doubled twice and homered twice to lead the A’s in a 10-4 rout of the Nationals.

Rich Hill was lifted after 7 perfect innings, striking out 9 Marlins and throwing 89 pitches. The bullpen would lose the no hitter in the 8th but the Dodgers finished up the 5-0 victory.
Joey Votto continued his torrid second half with 4 hits, including a homer, and a pair of runs scored, as the Reds beat the stumbling Pirates, 8-7.
Masahiro Tanaka threw shut out ball into the 8th, finishing with 1 run in 7 1/3 innings, striking out 10 Rays and earning the 5-1 decision for the white hot Yankees.
Matt Weiters reached base 3 times, homering twice and driving in 5 runs as the Orioles won a critical Wild Card Showdown with Detroit, 11-3.
