Seems like Coors Field is the place to hit for the cycle. And man, Nolan Arenado found the ideal way to finish it. Needing only a homer to check all the boxes off, he launched his in the bottom of the 9th for 3 runs and his team down.
A walk off, come from behind multi run homer to finish the cycle. That’s not a bad day at the office!

Seriously! Name a better Edinson ever who pitched in the bigs. Actually, when you think of it, Edinson Volquez has been an All Star, a Rookie of the Year candidate, he’s pitched in the post season with 3 different teams and got a World Series ring for his troubles.

Robbie Ray threw a complete game 4 hit shutout, striking out 10 Pirates for the 3-0 Arizona win.
Austin Hedges hit a 2 run homer and a 2 run double to propel the Padres past the Cubs, 6-2.
Eric Skoglund threw 6 1/3 innings of 2 hit, shutout ball, whiffing 5 Tigers, in his big league debut and earned the 1-0 decision for the Royals.
Elvis Andrus singled, doubled and homered, driving in 5 runs and scoring a pair as the Rangers outlasted Tampa Bay, 9-5.

Carlos Carrasco struck out 7 A’s in 7 innings, allowing 4 hits and 2 runs to earn the 5-3 decision for the Indians.
Ryan Zimmerman went 3 for 4 with a homer, scoring twice, in Washington’s bitter 3-0 victory in San Francisco.
Tanner Roark threw 7 shutout innings to lead the Nationals past San Francisco, 3-0.
