Greg Garcia homered twice and added another hit in the Cardinals 6-1 drubbing of the Reds.
Max Scherzer gave up one hit, an early 2 run homer, and settled down to retire the next 20 Colorado hitters, striking out 11 and earning the 6-2 decision for Washington.
Hanley Ramirez doubled and homered, driving in 3 runs, pushing Boston past Baltimore, 10-3.
Garrett Richards allowed 1 hit and 1 run over his 5 plus innings, striking out 5 Royals, winning the 5-3 game for the Angels.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Ozzie Albies reached base 4 times, including a homer, scored twice and drove in 4. But the Braves bullpen had a startling late inning collapse allowing the Cubs to come back and win a wild and rain soaked 14-10 contest.
Trevor Richards threw 7 innings of 2 hit shutout ball, striking out a pair of Pirates but the Marlins would get blanked and lose 1-0 in the 9th.
Yuli Gurriel hit a homer and doubled, totaling 3 RBI but the Astros dropped the 6-5 game in extra innings to Texas.
Charlie Morton struck out 12 Rangers in 6 innings but the Astros bullpen let him down and lost to the Rangers, 6-5.
