Earning Full WOBs:
Aaron Civale threw 6 shutout innings in his big league debut, striking out 6 Tigers along the way to earn the 2-0 decision for Cleveland.
Dakota Hudson kept the Angels to 1 run and 5 hits over 7 innings as St. Louis won 4-2.
Nomar Mazara homered twice in the Rangers 6-5 victory over the White Sox.
Alex Verdugo collected 4 hits, including 2 homers. The second shot was an 11th inning walk off blast that powered the Dodgers past rival Colorado, 5-4.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Tim Anderson went 3 for 4 with a homers and 4 runs driven in but the White Sox came up short against Texas, 6-5.
Danny Duffy threw 8 innings, allowing 3 runs while striking out 4 Twins. He did not get the decision as the Royals fell, 5-3.
Juan Soto collected 3 hits and drove in 4 in the Nationals 13-9 loss to Atlanta.
Vince Velasquez allowed 1 hit and 1 run over 5 innings, striking out 5 and walking none. The Phillies bullpen would give up the lead and the 5-3 game to the Marlins.

Rick Porcello pitched a masterpiece, needing only 86 pitches to throw a complete game 1 hitter, facing one above the minimum, walking none and striking out 9 Yankees to give the Red Sox a 4-1 win.
Shohei Ohtani compiled 4 hits, including 2 homers and stole a base, leading the Angels past the Indians, 7-4.
Vince Velasquez pitched into the 7th, throwing 6 1/3 shutout frames, giving up 2 hits and striking out 7 Marlins, earning the 5-1 decision for the Phillies.
Javier Baez reached 3 times, including a homer and a triple, helping the Cubs beat San Diego, 5-4.

Jose Ramirez homered twice, driving in 5 runs, as the Indians built up a lead big enough against the Reds that the bullpen wasn’t a factor, 19-4.
Carlos Gonzalez hit a 3 run homer and a solo shot to lead the Rockies in a wild and embarrassing 19-2 thrashing of Arizona.
Carlos Rodon pitched into the 8th, finishing with 7 1/3 shutout innings, striking out 7 Cardinals, as the White Sox won, 4-0.
Jacob deGrom threw 8 shutout innings, striking out 7. He did not get the decision but helped the Mets 3-0 extra inning blanking of Philadelphia.

Ozzie Albies got a pair of doubles and launched a walk off homer in the 11th to lead the Braves past the Reds, 5-4.
Curtis Granderson homered twice off of Verlander, his old teammate, and added a walk to help Toronto double up the Astros, 6-3.
John Gant allowed 1 hit over 7 shutout innings to give the Cardinals a 4-0 victory over Cleveland.
Blake Snell took a no hitter into the 7th and finished with 1 hit and 10 strikeouts over 7 frames as the Rays blanked the Nationals, 11-0.

Andrew McCutchen was dynamic, collecting 6 hits, stealing a base and extended his 14th inning at bat with foul ball after foul ball before slamming a come from behind, walk off, 3 run homer to stun the Dodgers, 7-5 in San Francisco.
Xander Bogaerts reached base 3 times, including a double and a grand slam, driving in 6 for the red hot Red Sox who clobbered the Rays, 10-3.
Vince Velasquez threw 6 strong innings, allowing 4 hits, 1 walk and 1 run as the Phillies humiliated the Marlins, 20-1.
Gerrit Cole struck out 11 Padres over 7 shutout innings. He didn’t get the decision but set up the Astros 1-0 extra inning victory.

Colby Rasmus homered twice in Houston’s 6-4 victory in Milwaukee.
Vincent Velasquez threw six shutout innings, striking out 9 Mets and earned the first Phillies win of the season, 1-0.
Rich Hill struck out 10 Seattle batters over six, allowing 1 run and 1 walk and got the 6-1 Oakland win.
