Earning 1/2 WOBs on losing efforts.

Kris Bryant reached base 5 times with a homer, 2 runs scored and 2 driven in but the Cubs lost big, 15-8, to Detroit.

Julio Teheran struck out 7 in 6 innings, walking 1 and allowing 1 run on a solo homer. He would not factor into the decision as the Padres beat the Braves, 3-2.

Michael Brantley went 3 for 4 with a double and a run scored in the Indians 6-4 loss in Boston.

Jeff Samardzija threw 7 innings, allowing 1 run and striking out 7. That one run was enough as the Angels topped the White Sox, 1-0.
