Jake Arrieta threw a no hitter into the 8th inning, finishing with 7 1/3 innings of 1 hit, 1 walk and 10 strikeout ball, earning the 2-0 win for the Cubs in Boston.

Ubaldo Jimenez gave the Orioles 8 innings, allowing just 4 hits and 1 unearned run, getting the 7-1 victory for the Orioles against the Rangers.

Ryan Zimmerman went 3-4 with a pair of doubles, scored twice and drove in a run, helping the Nationals past the Rockies, 7-3.

Rajai Davis got 2 hits, including a walk off come from behind grand slam that gave the Tigers a stunning 5-4 triumph over the A’s.

Earning 1/2 WOBs in losing efforts.

Mat Latos let up one hit over 7 innings, walking 1 and letting up just 1 run. Unfortunately for him, that one run was enough for the Padres to top his Reds, 1-0.

Corey Kluber threw into the 7th innings, allowing just 1 earned run. It was one run too many as the Indians dropped the game 1-0 in Los Angeles.

Curtis Granderson led off the game with a homer and collected a second hit. But the Mets bullpen collapsed and the Braves triumphed, 5-3.

George Springer launched his 16th homer, getting on base twice, in the Astros 10-4 loss to the Mariners.
