It is an interesting comparison but one that stats can’t quantify. Love cant be dictated solely by numbers.

It is an emotion and logic episode of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.

David Ortiz, David Price, Yovani Gallardo, Michael Morse, Drew Smyly, Matt AdamsClayton Kershaw and Avisail Garcia  all added to their totals for Who Owns Baseball?

Stanton with 4 different HR streaks since the ALL - Star Break already. He has the NL lead, and is tied with Nelson Cruz and Jose Abreu fro the Major League Lead in 2014 bombs, Stanton also fared well in this year's HR derby. May I remind everyone that this guys is still only 24.

Multi HR Games in MLB 2014: Chris Carter + David Ortiz Doing Some Damage This Week

Edwin Encarnacion has been out of the Jays Lineup for almost a month. Even with that fact, he is still tied for the Major League lead in Multi HR contests for 2014, with 6. Chris Carter of the Astros just tied him this week, although he has played way more games. EE has 6 multi HR games in about a 7 week span from May 8 to July. Encarnacion is also still just 5 HRs off of the Major League Lead for Bolts heading into action on Sunday Aug.17, 2014.

THE LONG BALL In 2014: TOP 5 Home Run Hitters AL/NL,

Chris Carter is the biggest mover and shaker this week, and is leading the Majors in bombs since the start of June. He has fashioned his bolts in a short amount of time by having Multi HR Games, and also coupling it with consecutive streaks. This guy is looking like a keeper for Houston, and may be one of the guys that got away from Billy Beane!
