Masahiro Tanaka gave the Yankees a much needed complete game, allowing 5 hits and 1 run while striking out 8 Blue Jays and earning the 4-1 victory.

Jackie Bradley Jr. became the youngest player in 100 years to collect 5 extra base hits in a game. He smacked 3 doubles and a pair of homers, scoring 5 and driving in 7 as the Red Sox stunned Seattle and King Felix, 22-10.

John Lackey pitched into the 9th, finishing with 8 1/3 innings, 2 runs, 1 walk and got the 6-2 decision for the Cardinals over the Marlins.

Scooter Gennett went 4 for 4 with a run scored and 2 RBI to help the Brewers top the Phillies, 4-2.

Chris Bassitt pitched 8 strong innings, allowing 5 hits and 3 runs but did not factor into the decision as the Orioles topped the A’s, 4-3.

Nelson Cruz got on base 4 times, including a 2 run homer, driving in 3 but could only watch as the Mariners were humiliated by the Red Sox, 22-10.

Todd Frazier reached base 3 times, including a homer, driving in a pair in the Reds 8-3 loss to the Dodgers.
