Earning 1/2 WOBs in losing efforts.

Hector Noesi pitched well over his 7 innings, striking out 8 and walking none. But the White Sox could not overcome the Orioles 4th inning rally and the Birds won, 4-3.

Alex Wood threw 7 solid innings, allowing 4 hits and 2 runs. But the Braves bullpen would blow the lead and the Pirates would walk off 3-2 winners.

David Ortiz went 4-4 with a homer but his Red Sox blew an early lead and lost to the Angels, 8-3.

Luis Valbuena missed the cycle by a double, going 3-4 with a triple and a homer, in the Cubs 8-3 loss to San Francisco.
