Earning Full WOBs:

Adam Duvall collected 4 hits, 2 of them home runs, and scored 3 times to help the Braves hold off Washington, 11-8.

Kyle Seager was a double shy of the cycle in his 3 hits, 4 RBI game as the Mariners topped Detroit, 8-5.

Noah Syndergaard pitched shutout ball into the 8th, finishing with 7 1/3 scoreless frames while striking out 11 White Sox, setting up the Mets 5-2 extra inning victory.

Justin Verlander threw 7 shutout innings, striking out 13, as the Astros blanked Cleveland, 2-0.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Andrew Benintendi reached base 4 times, homered and drove in 3 but the Red Sox rally came up just short against Tampa Bay, 6-5.

Shane Bieber struck out 8 Astros over 7 innings, holding them to 2 runs. But Verlander was slightly better and Cleveland was shutout, 2-0.

Zac Gallen gave the Marlins 7 strong innings, allowing 4 hits and 2 runs while striking out 8 Minnesota batters. However he took the hard lick 2-1 decision.

Manny Machado singled and homered in the Padres 8-5 loss to Baltimore.

Eric Hosmer homered twice in the Padres 8-1 clubbing of the Orioles.

Thomas Pannone threw 6 strong innings, striking out 4 Royals while setting up Toronto’s 7-3 win.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Scott Barlow helped stop the bleeding with a shutout, hitless inning, striking out 3 Blue Jays. The damage was done as the Royals were defeated, 7-3.

Cam Gallagher singled, doubled and walked, scoring a run, but the Royals came up short against Toronto, 7-3.

Ketel Marte reached base 3 times, homered and drove in 3 in Arizona’s 11-6 loss to Miami.

T. J. McFarland threw 1 2/3 innings out of the pen, was not charged with a run and did not get up a hit, doing mop up work after the Diamondbacks were already buried by the Marlins, 11-6.

Matthew Boyd struck out 10 Mariners in 6 1/3 innings, allowing 1 run. But the Tigers dropped the 3-2 game in 10.

Steven Matz threw a complete game 5 hit shutout, striking out 7, as the Mets blanked the Pirates, 3-0.

Will “Louisville” Smith doubled twice and homered, driving in 6 runs to help the Dodgers crush Washington, 9-3.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Jon Lester threw 7 shutout innings, striking out 5 Brewers. But the Cubs bullpen blew the lead and eventually the game in extra innings, 5-3.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Branden Kline gave the Orioles 2 1/3 shutout innings out of the bullpen to help stop the bleeding. But the Diamondbacks would double them up, 6-3.

D. J. LeMahieu reached base 4 times, including a homer, in the Yankees 8-6 loss in Minnesota.

Kiké Hernández homered twice and singled twice, driving in 4 runs in the Dodgers 7-6 loss in Philadelphia.

Jake Jewell stopped the bleeding and gave the Angels 3 innings of shutout relief and a chance to comeback. But the Houston lead was too large in the 6-2 final.

Yoán Moncada got 3 hits, including a home run, but the White Sox came up short against Kansas City, 6-5.

Jakob Junis struck out 10 White Sox over 7 innings, allowing 1 run in the Royals 5-2 victory.

Miles Mikolas threw a complete game 8 hit shutout, striking out 3 Pirates and walking none to earn the 7-0 decision for St. Louis.

Kyle Hendricks pitched 5 innings, allowing 4 hits and 2 runs but did not fare in the decision as the Cubs fell to the Reds, 6-3.

Earning Full WOBs:

José Altuve went 3 for 5 with a grand slam and 3 runs scored to help the Astros pound the Rangers, 12-4.

A. J. Pollock hit a 3 run homer in the first innings, added 2 more hits, including scoring a run in the 12 inning game winning rally to help the Dodgers survive in Boston, 7-4.

Mike Soroka held the Padres scoreless over 7 innings, collected 9 strikeouts en route to a 4-1 Atlanta victory.

Ryan Yarbrough came into the game in the third inning and took the combined perfect game into the 9th. He would surrender 2 hits and a run over 6 1/3 innings and earn the 4-1 decision for Tampa Bay over the Orioles.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Xander Bogaerts reached base 4 times including a homer, in the Red Sox 12 inning 7-4 loss to the Dodgers.

Reynaldo López allowed 1 unearned run over 6 innings, striking out 7 Oakland batters. The White Sox would commit a critical error in the 9th which led to the 3-2 walk off defeat.

Cal Quantrill blanked the Braves in his 6 innings of work, allowing 3 hits and 1 walk. He would not fare in the decision as the Padres fell, 4-1.

Christian Yelich homered and singled but the Brewers dropped the 8-3 game to San Francisco.

Earning Full WOBs:

Michael Brosseau went 3 for 5 with 2 homers to help the Rays take the second game of a double header from Baltimore, 12-4. He also walked in the opening 2-1 loss.

Phillip Ervin matched a Reds record with 6 hits, including a double and a triple, throwing in a stolen base and 3 RBI for good measure in the 17-9 slug fest victory in Colorado.

Brad Keller allowed 1 run and no walks over 8 innings to earn the 4-1 decision for Kansas City over Detroit.

Noah Syndergaard struck out 9 Marlins in 7 innings, allowing 2 runs to give the Mets a 4-2 win.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Brendan McKay struck out 7 Orioles in 5 shutout innings in the Rays 2-1 double header opener loss.

Daniel Murphy reached base 5 times, including a homer, scoring twice but the Rockies dropped the wild 17-9 game to the Reds.

Aaron Nola gave up 1 run over 6 strong innings, striking out 9 Nationals and walking none. The Phillies bullpen would implode in the 9th and give up the 4-3 final.

Danny Santana doubled, homered and stole a base but the Rangers fell to the Astros, 7-6 in 11 innings.

Josh Donaldson hit a pair of homers, driving in 4, to slug the Braves past San Diego, 5-3.

Dallas Keuchel struck out 9 over 7 strong innings allowing 1 run and 6 hits as the Braves topped the Padres, 5-3.

Felix Peña threw the final 7 innings of the Angels 13-0 combined no hitter of the Seattle Mariners, striking out 6 during the emotional evening.

Mike Trout paid tribute to his late friend Tyler Skaggs by reaching base 5 times, homering and doubling in the first inning alone, driving in 6 as the Angels pulled off a dramatic 13-0 no hitter against the Mariners.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Yordan Álvarez homered twice, singled and walked, scoring 3 times, but the Astros watched the Rangers walk off 9-8 winners.

Gerrit Cole struck out 13 Rangers in 6 innings, but the Astros bullpen imploded in their 9-8 walk off loss.

Sonny Gray held the Rockies to 1 run and 5 hits over 7 Coors Field innings. But the Reds bullpen blew his lead and the game, 3-2.

Keston Hiura wemt 3 for 4 with a homer, a walk and 2 RBI but the Brewers dropped the 10-7 game to San Francisco.

Lance Lynn struck out 11 Astros over 7 shutout innings, allowing 6 hits to earn the 6-0 decision for the Rangers.

Rougned Odor doubled twice and walked, driving in 2 as the Rangers blanked the Astros, 6-0.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Cy Sneed came out of the bullpen and threw 5 innings, giving up 1 run and struck out 7 but it was too late as the Astros were blanked by the Rangers, 5-0.

George Springer singled and doubled but the Astros were shutout by the Rangers, 5-0.

Joey Gallo homered to give the American League much needed breathing room as they would hang on to top the National League, 4-3.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Charlie Blackmon homered in the 6th to put the National League on the board but they would come up short to the American League, 4-3.

Jacob deGrom needed only 7 pitched to retire all three American League batters he faced in the National League’s 4-3 All Star Game loss.

Greg Allen homered, tripled and added a pair of singles, to help the Indians clobber Cincinnati, 11-1.

Jay Bruce went 3 for 4 with 2 homers to slug the Phillies past the Mets, 8-3.

Trevor Bauer threw 7 strong innings, allowing 1 run and striking out 9 to lead Cleveland past Cincinnati, 11-1.

Patrick Corbin threw 7 shutout innings, striking out 11 Royals en route to a 5-2 Washington victory.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Jesus Aguilar went 3 for 4 with 2 homers but the Pirates edged the Brewers, 6-5.

Jack Flaherty took a no hitter into the 7th. A solo homer would break up the no no and would be his undoing as St. Louis was blanked by the Giants, 1-0.

Jakob Junis threw 7 strong innings, allowing 5 hits and 2 runs while striking out 6 Nationals. The Kansas City bullpen would blow the 5-2 game.

Omar Narvaez homered twice and singled twice, driving in 4, but the Mariners came up short against Oakland, 7-4.

Shane Bieber threw 8 innings, allowing 4 hits and 2 runs while fanning 8 Reds to give the Indians a 7-2 victory.

Kevin Newman went 4 for 5 with a homer and 3 RBI to help the Pirates clobber the Brewers, 12-2.

Roberto Perez collected 4 hits, including a home run, driving in 2 as the Indians topped the Reds, 7-2.

Max Scherzer struck out 11 in 7 shutout innings, allowing 4 hits and even stole a base as the Nationals blanked the Royals, 6-0.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Jeimer Candelario homered twice, driving in 3, but the Tigers multiple comeback bids against Boston came up short in the 10-6 final.

Kenta Maeda pitched into the 8th, finishing with 7 2/3 innings, 4 hits and 3 runs, striking out 6 Padres. He would take the hard luck 3-1 decision for the Dodgers.

Yasiel Puig went 3 for 4 with a homer in the Reds 7-2 loss to the Indians.

CC Sabathia struck out 5 Rays in 7 solid innings. He would not factor into the decision as the Yankees dropped the 4-3 game in the 9th.

Dylan Bundy pitched into the 7th, allowing 1 run in 6 2/3 innings, striking out 6 Blue Jays as the Orioles got a rare win, 4-1.

Zack Greinke struck out 9 Rockies over 7 shutout innings to earn the 8-0 decision for Arizona.

Aaron Judge homered twice, including a go ahead shot in the 11th, to give the Yankees a dramatic 8-4 victory in Tampa Bay.

Christian Walker got 3 hits, 2 of them home runs, driving in 5 to help the Diamondbacks blank the Rockies, 8-0.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Luis Castillo took a no hitter into the 7th and finished with 7 2/3 scoreless one hit innings, striking out 9 Brewers for the 1-0 final.

Lance Lynn worked out of jam after jam, holding the Angels to 2 runs over 7 innings to earn the 9-3 decision for the Rangers.

Marcus Semien reached base 3 times, including 2 homers, driving in 5 runs as the red hot A’s won again, 7-2, over Minnesota,

Dansby Swanson hit a double and two homers, driving in 5, to help the Braves double up the Phillies, 12-6.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Starlin Castro collected 3 hits, including a double, in the Marlins 5-2 loss to Washington.

Yonny Chirinos threw 7 solid innings, striking out 5 Yankees and giving up 3 runs. The wild 8-4 game was a bullpen affair lost by the Rays.

Danny Jansen homered twice and added another hit, driving in 5, but the Blue Jays bullpen dropped the 8-7 game to the Red Sox.

Brandon Woodruff allowed an early run and shut the Reds out for the rest of his 6 innings of work. That run was one too many as the Brewers were blanked, 1-0.

Sonny Gray struck out 12 over 8 scoreless innings as the Reds blanked the Brewers, 3-0.

Yoán Moncada homered in the first and hit a game tying homer in the 10th, setting up the White Sox double header sweep walk off 9-6 victory over the Tigers. He had singled and scored in the 7-5 opening win.

Victor Caratini hit a solo homer and a 2 run shot but the Cubs saw the Pirates walk off as 6-5 winners.

Nicholas Castellanos collected 4 hits, including a homer, driving in 3 in the Tigers 9-6 extra innings loss to the White Sox.

Jhoulys Chacín struck out 8 Reds in 6 innings, walking none and allowing 2 runs. He took the hard luck 3-0 decision for Milwaukee.

Mike Leake pitched shutout ball into the 8th, finishing with 7 2/3 scoreless frames, striking out 7 Cardinals. Seattle’s bullpen would meltdown in the 9th and drop the 5-2 final.

Aaron Nola threw 8 scoreless innings, allowing 4 hits and recording 8 strikeouts as the Phillies blanked the Braves, 2-0.

Jason Castro hit a pair of homers and added another hit but the Twins were stopped by Oakland, 8-6.

Freddy Galvis compiled 10 total bases by homering twice and doubling to help the Blue Jays cruise to an 11-4 final over the Royals.

Clayton Richard threw 6 innings, allowing 3 runs and struck out 4 Royals en route to an easy 11-4 win for the Blue Jays.

Jeff Samardzija gave the Giants 8 innings, allowing 2 runs and striking out 6 Padres to get the 13-2 victory.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Thomas Eshelman held the Rays to 2 runs over 5 innings. He would not get the decision as the Orioles bullpen lost the 6-3 game.

Tyler Mahle struck out 8 Brewers in 6 innings, allowing just 3 hits and 2 walks. The Reds would drop the 8-6 final.

Renato Núñez singled and doubled, scoring a run, but the Orioles were doubled up by the Rays, 6-3

Shohei Ohtani homered twice in the Angels 12-3 loss to the A’s.

Chad Sobotka struck out 3 Mets in 2 innings of 1 hit shutout ball out of the pen. The Braves bullpen could not save his lead as they fell 8-5.
