COLORADO ROCKIES vs LOS ANGELES DODGERS, MLB

Aaron Ontiveroz, The Denver Post

Let’s see owned baseball on July 29, 2019

Earning Full WOBs:

Jon Gray took a shutout into the 8th and finished with 8 innings, 1 run and struck out 6 Dodgers along the way to the Rockies 8-1 victory.

Randal Grichuk singled, tripled and homered, driving in 3 as the Blue Jays topped the Royals, 7-3.

Eric Hosmer homered twice in the Padres 8-1 clubbing of the Orioles.

Thomas Pannone threw 6 strong innings, striking out 4 Royals while setting up Toronto’s 7-3 win.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Scott Barlow helped stop the bleeding with a shutout, hitless inning, striking out 3 Blue Jays. The damage was done as the Royals were defeated, 7-3.

Cam Gallagher singled, doubled and walked, scoring a run, but the Royals came up short against Toronto, 7-3.

Ketel Marte reached base 3 times, homered and drove in 3 in Arizona’s 11-6 loss to Miami.

T. J. McFarland threw 1 2/3 innings out of the pen, was not charged with a run and did not get up a hit, doing mop up work after the Diamondbacks were already buried by the Marlins, 11-6.
