Carlos Correa singled, doubled, homered, scored 3 times, drove in 4 and provided sparkling defense, helping Houston crush the Angels, 13-3.

Jason Hammel pitched a shutout into the 8th inning, finishing with 7 2/3, allowing 2 hits and 2 walks. He got a no decision but the Cubs walked off against the Dodgers, 1-0.

Nolan Arenado homered twice, driving in 4, helping the Rockies top the Diamondacks 10-5.

Who Owned Baseball June 16, 2015 (Daily AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2015 #WOB Standings

Brock Holt became the first Red Sox player since 1996 to hit for the cycle, doubling, smacking a single, homering to the opposite field and finally tripling into the triangle, scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the 9-4 victory over Atlanta.

Chi Chi Gonzalez pitched a shutout into the 9th inning before surrendering a game tying homer after 8 1/3 innings. His excellent outing would go as a no decision but the Rangers walked off against the Dodgers, 3-2.

Clint Robinson put Washington on the board with a homer and kept getting on. He would finish with 4 hits and a walk, adding a double and three runs scored in the 16-4 thrashing of Tampa Bay.

Matt Harvey threw 7 shutout innings, walking none and allowing 4 hits, getting the first place Mets another dramatic win against Toronto, 3-2.

The First Cycle Hit for 2015!

With all the great hitters in baseball, naturally it is BROCK HOLT of the Red Sox who gets a single, double, triple and homer. Granted, I am not thrilled that he wears Wade Boggs’ number 26, but this is a day to celebrate.

Good bye John Valentin, no longer on this list.

I have compiled a list of the most current no hitter for each franchise, but here is the companion list for the cycle. Is it harder to hit for the cycle? Probably. But Holt did it!
