Earning 1/2 WOBs in losing

Madison Bumgarner retired the first 12 batters he faced before allowing an infield single. He would give up 2 runs in the 6th, finishing with a complete game, 4 hits, 1 walk and 9 strikeouts. But he took the loss as the Giants fell to King Felix and the Mariners 2-0.

Freddy Galvis singled and hit a 3 run homer in the Phillies 6-4 loss to Baltimore.

John Danks had a rough first inning, allowing 3 runs. But he bounced back to throw 6 scoreless innings after that, walking no Pittsburgh batter. The first inning hole was enough though as the White Sox lost 3-2.

Matt Joyce reached base 3 times, including a triple, and scored in the Angels 3-2 loss in Arizona.
