Max Schezrer retired the first 18 Milwaukee batters he faced, finishing with a complete game 1 hit shutout, allowing just 1 walk while striking out a career high 16 batters to earn the 4-0 decision for Washington.

Sonny Gray pitched into the 8th inning, allowing just 5 hits, no walks and one unearned runs while striking out 9 Angels, winning the 8-1 game for the A’s.

Juan Lagares collected 3 hits including a double and a go ahead 3 run homer to give the Mets a dramatic come from behind 10-8 victory over Atlanta.

Russell Martin reached base 4 times, including a double, scored 3 runs and drove in 2 more helping the Blue Jays clobber the Red Sox 13-5.

They all owned baseball on June 14, 2015.

Earning 1/2 WOBs in losing

Cole Hamels pitched 7 shutout innings, allowing just 4 hits and 1 walk while striking out 12. He would get a no decision as the Phillies fell to Pittsburgh 1-0 in 11 innings.

Chris Sale pitched into the 7th, finishing with 3 hits and 12 strikeouts over 6 2/3. But he would be saddled with a tough luck 2-1 loss as the White Sox fell to Tampa Bay.

Jace Peterson singled, doubled and homered, scoring 3 and driving in 3 in Atlanta’s 10-8 loss to the Mets.

Leonys Martin singled and homered in the Rangers 4-3 loss to Minnesota.
