HOUSTON  – Chuck Booth had an NCAA offer to play baseball at Liberty University years ago but he couldn’t take the opportunity  because of brain injuries — nine concussions to be exact. But what he’s doing to raise money for concussion research may surprise you.

“I’m recovering from a concussion – my latest one and the doctor said you need six months off,” says Booth. ” I basically took my insurance settlement and said I’m gonna go to baseball games every single day of this year.”

Booth vowed to attend at least one major league baseball game each day of the regular season because of his love for the game and to raise money for concussion research and awareness.

This feat equals 219 total games in 183 consecutive days — in all 30 major league ballparks.
