Earning Full WOBs:
Miles Mikolas threw 8 solid innings, allowing 4 hits and 2 runs and added his own RBI hit as the Cardinals clobbered the Mets, 10-2.
Eddie Rosario went 3 for 5 with 2 homers in the Twins 6-5 double header opening victory over Baltimore. In the nightcap, he singled and doubled to help the Twins sweep the two games with a 16-7 slug fest.
Masahiro Tanaka struck out 7 Royals in 7 innings, scattering 4 hits and a single run as the Yankees won easily, 9-2.
Christian Yelich homered twice and walked to help the Brewers blank the Dodgers, 5-0.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Trevor Bauer pitched into the 7th, striking out 10 Braves in 6 1/3 innings and holding them to 3 hits and 2 runs. The Indians bullpen had a meltdown in the 9th, however, to hand Atlanta the 8-7 final.
Charlie Blackmon went 4 for 5 with a homer and 4 RBI but his Rockies fell to Philadelphia, 8-5.
Hyun-Jin Ryu struck out 9 Brewers in 5 2/3 innings, allowing 2 runs. He would take the hard luck 5-0 Dodger decision.
Dwight Smith Jr. reached base 3 times with a homer in the Orioles 6-5 opener loss to the Twins.
