Let’s see owned baseball on April 2, 2019

Earning Full WOBs:

Zack Greinke not only struck out 10 Padres without giving up a walk in 6 strong innings for the win, but also homered twice, driving in 4, to lead the Diamondbacks in every way to the 8-5 final.

Bryce Harper had a memorable return to Washington, getting a single, an RBI double and a towering 2 run homer, to answer the boos and lead the Phillies to an 8-2 victory.

Blake Snell threw 7 shutout innings, allowing 2 hits and 1 walk while striking out 13 Rockies en route to a 4-0 decision for the Rays.

Daniel Vogelbach doubled and hit a tie breaking 8th inning homer to help the surging Mariners win again, 2-1 over the Angels.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Anthony DeSclafani struck out 8 Brewers in 5 innings, allowing 1 run. He did not factor into the decision as Cincinnati dropped the game, 4-3.

Adalberto Mondesi singled, doubled and homered but the Royals blew the lead in the 9th and the 5-4 game in the 10th to Minnesota.

Hunter Renfroe homered twice in the Padres 8-5 loss to Arizona.

Masahiro Tanaka pitched into the 7th, allowing 1 run, no walks and struck out 7 Tigers over 6 2/3 innings. The Yankee bullpen would lose the 3-1 game in the 9th.
