Earning Full WOBs:
Homer Bailey held the Yankees to 3 hits and 1 run over 6 innings to help the Royals win, 6-1.
Patrick Corbin pitched into the 8th, finishing with 7 2/3 innings, allowing 2 hits and 1 run while striking out 9 San Francisco batters to earn the 4-2 decision for the Nationals.
Ryon Healy homered twice and walked, driving in 5 in Seattle’s wild 11-10 victory in Anaheim.
Ryan McMahon went 3 for 4 with 2 homers and 5 RBI as the Rockies beat the Phillies, 6-2.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Zach Eflin held the Rockies scoreless through 5 before allowing 2 earned runs and 1 unearned run in the 6th. He would take the hard luck 6-2 defeat for the Phillies.
Ryne Harper stopped the bleeding with 3 1/3 shutout innings out of the pen, holding the Blue Jays to 1 hit and no walks. It was too little too late as the Twins fell, 7-4.
Evan Longoria singled and doubled, scoring a run and driving in another but the Giants came up short 4-2 to Washington.
Tommy Pham collected 4 hits, including a homer and stole a base in the Rays 6-5 extra inning loss to Baltimore.
