Podcaster, Fan Duel Insider and Oakland A’s fan Jessica Kleinschmidt is my guest today.

We talked about the state of the 2015 A’s, the different directions they can go in and how we feel when we find ourselves rooting for teams other than our own.

It is an East Bay Bias Episode 974 of The Sully Baseball Daily Podcast.

Marco Estrada, Jimmy Nelson, Brett Lawrie, Yasmany Tomas, Adam Eaton, Nathan Karns, Shelby Miller and Giancarlo Stanton all added to their totals for Who Owns Baseball?

Marco Estrada, partially aided by some spectacular infield defense, pitched a perfect game until there was one out in the 8th when he allowed an infield hit. He finished 8 2/3 sparkling shutout innings, allowing 2 hits, no walks while striking out 10. He would get a no decision but the Blue Jays won in Tampa Bay, 1-0.

Brett Lawrie went 3 for 5 including a grand slam to lead the red hot A’s to an 8-2 blowout against Texas.

Jimmy Nelson allowed 2 hits, including a solo homer, and 1 walk over 8 innings, earning the 4-1 decision for Milwaukee over the Mets.

Yasmany Tomas collected 4 hits, drove in a run and scored the go ahead run in the Diamondbacks come from behind 9th inning rally to top the Rockies 8-7.

They all owned baseball on June 24, 2015.
