Chris Heston threw the 17th no hitter in the history of the Giants franchise, blanking the Mets with 11 strikeouts, no walks and 3 batters hit for a 5-0 masterpiece.

Joey Votto homered three times and added a walk and another run scored to his 4 RBI as Cincinnati demolished Philadelphia, 11-2.

Masahiro Tanaka pitched 7 strong innings, walking none and allowing 5 hits and 1 run, getting the 6-1 decision for the Yankees over Washington.

Edwin Encarnacion hit a 2 run, walk off, come from behind homer in the bottom of the 9th to give the Blue Jays a 4-3 win over the Marlins.

Dan Haren allowed 3 hits, 2 runs and no walks over 7 innings. Miami’s bullpen would blow his lead in the 9th to Toronto, 4-3.

Giancarlo Stanton hit his 20th and 21st homers of the year but his Marlins lost in the 9th to the Blue Jays, 4-3.

Eduardo Rodriguez had another solid game for the Red Sox throwing 6 shutout innings, striking out 7 Orioles. The Red Sox bullpen would lose the game, however, 1-0.

Yan Gomes homered twice in the Indians 3-2 loss to the Mariners.
