Dexter Fowler got 4 hits, including a homer, driving in 4 and scoring 3 as the Cardinals won a slug fest against division rival Milwaukee, 13-5.
J. A. Happ threw 7 strong innings, allowing 3 hits, 2 runs and struck out 5 Angels. He did not get the decision but the Yankees topped the Angels in 14 innings, 4-3.
Steven Matz held the Phillies to 1 run over 6 innings to earn the 5-1 decision for the Mets.
Jorge Polanco went 4 for 5 with a homer, 4 RBI and 2 runs scored to lead the red hot Twins past Houston, 9-5.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Brian Dozier reached base 3 times, including a homer, in the Nationals 7-5 loss to the Rockies.
Hunter Dozier went 2 for 2 with a homer and a walk but the Royals dropped the 6-3 game to Tampa Bay.
Matt Harvey allowed just 3 hits and 2 walks over 6 innings, striking out a pair of Yankees. The Angels fell in 14 innings, 4-3.
Joe Musgrove threw 6 strong innings, allowing 3 hits and struck out 5 Diamondbacks along the way. But the Pirates bullpen melted down in the lopsided 12-4 final.
