So you think July was weird, well the last 2 months plus a little of October should shape up to be weirder.  I am sitting at Camden Yards last night – and my buddy Scott tells me he can’t make the game tonight – because he missed his flight on the West Coast.

I told him the odds of having something happen to you for the traveling the whole year go up exponentially when you are on the road.  I lose stuff pretty routinely.  Mostly I can recover these items, but some I like to wonder if “Casper, the un-friendly ghost” got his grubby little mitts on. Who Owned Baseball July 29, 2015 (Daily AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2015 #WOB Standings

Troy Tulowitzki made his Toronto debut with a pair of doubles, a homer, 3 RBI and some sparkling defense to help beat Philadelphia, 8-2.

Bryce Harper went 3 for 4 with a pair of homers, 3 runs scored and 4 knocked in to give the Nationals a 7-2 victory over Miami.

Corey Kluber pitched shutout ball into the 9th, finishing with a complete game, 5 hits, 1 run, 1 walk and 6 strikeouts, earning the decision as the Indians clobbered the Royals, 12-1.

Jon Lester struck out 14 and walked only 1 Colorado batter over 8 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs while getting the 3-2 win for the Cubs.

They all owned baseball on July 29, 2015.
