Bartolo Colon pitched into the 7th, finishing with 6 2/3 solid innings to earn the 6-3 decision for the Mets in San Diego. But most of all, he broke the internet with the first home run of his career that became one of the most joyful moments in recent baseball history.

Aaron Hill slammed three homers, including a 2 run shot that brought the Brewers to within one, a solo blast that tied the game in the 8th and a 10th inning grand slam that was the difference in the 13-7 slug-fest against the Reds.

Ian Kennedy slowed down a red hot Indians team with 7 shutout frames, allowing only 4 hits and 2 walks and got the 7-0 victory for the defending champ Royals.

Robinson Cano hit a pair of homers, including a go ahead blast in the tenth. He added two more hits for ten total bases and led the Mariners past Houston, 3-2.
