Dustin Pedroia cracked three hits, two of them homers and one of those being a grand slam as the Red Sox pounded the hapless Braves, 9-4.

Brandon Belt singled, doubled and homered, driving in 5 and helped the Giants finish their sweep of the Padres, 13-9.

Chris Tillman pitched a shutout into the 7th, finishing 6 2/3 innings, no runs, 2 hits, struck out 9 Rays and won the 3-1 match up for the Orioles.

Jeremy Hellickson threw 7 innings of 2 hit shutout ball, striking out 8 Nationals and earned the 3-0 decision for the Phillies.

They all owned baseball on April 27, 2016.

Alex Rodriguez reached base 4 times, including a homer, but the Yankees fell to the Rangers, 3-2.

Freddie Freeman got two hits including the 4th Braves homer of the season in the 9-4 defeat in Boston.

Matt Moore pitched 7 strong innings, allowing 3 hits and striking out 9. He would end up on the wrong side of a 3-1 Rays loss to Baltimore.
