Let’s see owned baseball on September 22, 2019

Earning Full WOBs:

John Means threw 7 strong innings, allowing 1 run as the Orioles edged the Mariners, 2-1.

Seth Mejias-Brean reached base 4 times and ended the 6-4 game in the 10th with a 2 run walk off homer giving San Diego the win over Arizona.

Hyun-Jin Ryu did not walk a batter and struck out 8 Rockies and launched a home run of his own to earn the 7-4 victory for the Dodgers.

George Springer launched 3 homers to power the Astros to a 13-5 thrashing of the Angels and an AL West clincher.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Yu Darvish pitched into the 9th inning, striking out 12 Cardinals in 8 1/3 innings. But St. Louis rallied and he absorbed the brutal 3-2 decision for the Cubs.

Marco Gonzales struck out 4 Orioles in 7 innings, allowing 3 hits and 2 runs, but the Mariners came up short, 2-1.

Sam Hilliard went3 for 4 with a homer but the Rockies fell to the Dodgers, 7-4.

Billy McKinney homered twice in the Blue Jays 8-3 loss to the Yankees.
