Who Owned Baseball August 2, 2018 (Daily #MLB AL/NL Pitcher + Hitter MVP’s) + 2018 #WOB

Steve Pearce hit 3 homers, including a go ahead 3 run shot, to lead the Red Sox stunning offensive outpouring against the Yankees, 15-7.

Yasiel Puig homered twice and singled, driving in 4 runs as the Dodgers smoked the Brewers, 21-5.

Reynaldo Lopez allowed 2 runs over 7 innings, striking out 4 Royals as the White Sox won, 6-4.

Max Scherzer struck out 10 Reds in 6 innings to earn the 10-4 decision for Washington.

They all owned baseball on August 2, 2018

Yasmani Grandal hit 2 homers. The first one broke up a no hitter and the second one was a walk off shot in extra innings to end the Dodgers 6-4 victory over Milwaukee.

Tommy Milone struck out 9 Mets in 5 innings to give the Nationals a needed 5-3 win.

Franklin Barreto went 3 for 4 with a homer and 3 RBI to help the A’s beat the Blue Jays, 8-3.

Carlos Carrasco pitched into the 8th, throwing 7 1/3 innings with 10 strikeouts as the Indians blanked the Twins, 2-0.

But the Mets botched the entire day and continue to doom their franchise.

Zack Godley struck out 10 Rangers in 7 innings of 2 hit scoreless ball as Arizona took the 6-0 final.

Khris Davis singled twice and homered, driving in a pair, as the A’s won again, 6-2 over Toronto.

Matthew Boyd threw 8 shutout innings, striking out 7 Reds to earn the 2-1 decision for Detroit.
