Sitting outside of Sunken Diamond on the Stanford Campus, I gloat about the Red Sox sweep of the Yankees and point out that some of the problems in the Bronx won’t go away soon.

Meanwhile, I clear out a few unpleasant topics that I have been avoiding addressing.

Fixing all the left overs in this episode of Sully Baseball.

While we are at it, enjoy the NEW In Memoriam video.

FanDuel & DraftKings DFS Pitchers

I really like this match-up. I think both of these pitchers could be in store for a great game. Obvious Max Scherzer is the best pitcher in the game right now and has had success against the Braves in the past. I would be looking at Scherzer for cash and Newcomb for tournament plays tonight.

Another premier match-up on board in this game. We have Dallas Keuchel vs. Madison Bumgarner. Just looking at Kuechel’s numbers you’d see a 9-9 record which would be terrible considering the team he is on. He was terrible to start the season but he’s been on fire as of late. He lost only 1 game in July and had a 4-1 record with a 1.65 ERA for the month. I honestly could make a case for you to use either of these pitchers in cash.

Jon Gray threw 8 strong innings, striking out 8 Brewers and allowing just 4 hits and 1 run. He did not get the decision but Colorado won 5-4 in extra innings.

Trevor Cahill struck out 10 in 6 innings of shutout ball as the A’s blanked Detroit, 6-0.

Nick Markakis went 4 for 5 with the go ahead 10th inning homer to power the Braves past the Mets, 5-4.

Mark Trumbo homered twice and singled, driving in 5 runs to give the Orioles a rare victory, 9-6 in Texas.
