Kenta Maeda threw six shutout innings in his major league debut, striking out 4 and walking none. He added a home run as well and took complete credit for the Dodgers 7-0 blanking of the Padres.
DJ LeMahieu went 2 for 4 with a homer and two runs scored in the Rockies 4-3 victory in Arizona.
Sonny Gray pitched 7 strong innings, allowing just 1 run and 3 hits and earned the first A’s win of the year over the White sox, 2-1.
Steven Souza Jr., went 4 for 4 with a pair of homers and 4 RBI in Tampa Bay’s 5-3 win over the Blue Jays.
They all owned baseball on April 6, 2016.

Aaron Nola threw 7 strong innings, allowing just 4 hits and a single run but did not get a decision as the Phillies allowed the Reds to be 3-2 walk off winners.
Angel Pagan doubled and tripled, scoring two times, but the Giants fell to the Brewers 4-3.
Carlos Rodon gave the White Sox 7 solid innings, holding the A’s to 7 hits and 2 runs. But he would get the 2-1 loss.
Carlos Correa went 4 for 5 with two homers but the Astros dropped the 16-6 slugfest to the Yankees.
