Earning 1/2 WOBs in losing efforts.

Evan Longoria got 3 hits, including a pair of doubles and drove in 2 during the Rays game tying 9th inning rally. The Mariners would win the game in the 10th, 7-6.

Jesse Chavez pitched wonderfully over 8 innings, allowing a single unearned run, allowing 5 hits and 2 walks. He would be the hard luck loser as the A’s fell to Detroit, 1-0.

Ben Revere singled, tripled, drove in a pair and scored the tying run in a 4 run 8th inning go ahead rally for the Phillies. The Mets would tie the game and walk off winners in the 10th, 5-4.

Chris Rusin pitched 7 innings, allowing just 4 hits and 4 walks, striking out 5. He would get a no decision as the Rockies lost 2-1 in Cincinnati.
