Miguel Cabrera is absolutely unconscious this season so far;. He has a 3 Slash Line of .369 (Leads AL)/.445 (Leads AL/1.121 (2ndi n AL), with 17 HRs (2nd AL) and a mind - blowing 65 RBI through 54 Games Played. He is on pace for 51 HRs. 195 RBI and about 250 Hits. He keeps getting better every single year if possible. Despite his prominence - and a lineup full of ALL - Star hitters and Pitchers, the Tigers are limping along at just a few games over .500. It certainly isn't this 30 Year Olds fault.

Citi Field is one of the newest Ball Parks in the Majors and will have be host to the 2013 ALL – Star Game. It is light years ahead of where Shea Stadium was.  The field made slight moderation’s to the fences last year prior to being awarding the event.  Will they have 1, 2 or 3 players selected for the Mid – Summers Classic?  We will find out in the next 5 – 6 weeks.

Jake Dal Porto (MLB Reports Writer)

The New York Mets haven’t had much team success in 2013, as they currently sit in fourth place in the National League East, 11 games out of first place.

Amid the rebuilding process, however, the Mets could produce three All-Stars in 2013. Sending three All-Stars would be ideal for the franchise’s sake, as the All-Star Game will be at Citi Field, and a good representation of the team would be something to rejoice over in dreadful times.

The first two are fairly obvious–David Wright and Matt Harvey. The third one in Daniel Murphy isn’t as obvious.

Do they have a case?

Chris Davis hit his 20th homer and it started the Orioles comeback rally as they beat the Tigers 5-2.

Yu Darvish pitched 7 shutout innings while letting up only 3 hits. He got a no decision after the bullpen blew the lead but the Rangers won the game over the Royals, 3-1.

Buster Posey had a four hit day including two doubles and a run scored as the Giants won the final game against the Cardinals, 4-2.

Jorge DeLa Rosa went 7 innings letting up only 2 runs as the Rockies beat the Dodgers AGAIN 7-2

They all owned baseball on June 2nd, 2013.
