Eric Hosmer hit a 3 run homer in the first, got another hit and another walk, scoring twice, helping the Royals top the Indians 7-4.

John Lackey kept the Cubs off the board until the 7th and finished with 7 2/3 innings, 5 hits, 1 walk and 10 strikeouts, winning the 5-1 game for the red hot Cardinals.

Kyle Lobstein allowed only 5 hits, 2 walks and an unearned run over 7 2/3 innings, earning the 4-1 decision for the Tigers over the White Sox.

Shelby Miller threw a complete game 3 hit shutout, walking just 1 while striking out 8 Phillies batters as Atlanta rolled 9-0.

Madison Bumgarner threw a no hitter into the 7th and finished with 7 1/3 shutout innings, allowing just 2 hits, 1 walk and struck out 6 Padres for the 2-0 win in San Francisco.

Jordan Schafer reached base 4 times, doubled, scored 2 and drove in 2 as the Twins came from behind to beat Oakland, 8-7.

Hector Gomez became the first batter to ever triple and homer off of Clayton Kershaw in the same game, sparking lowly Milwaukee’s shocking come from behind, 4-3 win over the Dodgers.

Justin Upton homered and hit a pair of doubles, driving in 3 and scoring twice, helping the Padres win an 8-6 slugfest against the Rockies.

Sonny Gray pitched shutout ball into the 7th, allowing only 2 hits while striking out 10 and got credit for the 7-1 A’s win in Texas.

Evan Gattis hit 2 homers and drove in 4. The second homer put the Astros up for good, 7-6, as they topped Seattle and pushed their winning streak to 10 games.

Angel Pagan collected 4 hits, including a double and a key single in the Giants game winning 11th inning rally as they topped Colorado 5-4.

Wei-Yin Chen pitched 8 innings, allowing just 4 hits and 2 runs and 1 walk. The bullpen would blow his lead but the Orioles would come back to win, 5-4 in 10 against the Red Sox.

Jimmy Paredes hit 2 singles, a double, a homer, driving in 2 and scoring 2, helping set up the Orioles come from behind 10th inning walk off win, 5-4 against Boston.

Mark Teixeira homered twice, driving in 4 runs and helped the Yankees stop the Mets winning streak, 6-1 in the Bronx.

Dallas Keuchel gave the Astros 9 shutout innings, allowing just 2 hits and 2 walks. The Astros bats were silent and the game went into extra innings. The Astros would hold on after a wild 10th and 11th inning game them a 5-4 win in Oakland.

Anthony Rizzo reached base 4 times, doubled, hit a game tying 2 run homer and scored a pair, including the go ahead run in the 11th as the Cubs topped the Reds, 7-3.

Aaron Harang held Atlanta hitless into the 5th and pitched 8 shutout innings, surrendering just 2 hits and 1 walk. He would not get a decision but the Phillies walked off 1-0 winners over the Braves.

David Phelps gave the Marlins a much needed with with 7 shutout innings, allowing just 3 hits and 2 walks and got the 9-1 decision in Philadelphia.

Jacoby Ellsbury hustled to force a double, reached base two other times, stole a base and scored both Yankee runs to win a tight 2-1 victory in Detroit.

Masahiro Tanaka gave the Yankees another good outing, pitching into the 7th, keeping the mighty Tiger bats to only 3 hits and 1 run over 6 1/3 innings. He did not get the decision but the Yankees prevailed, 2-1.

David Price pitched 8 strong innings, letting up just 4 hits and 1 walk. He did not get the decision but his great performance set up Detroit’s walk off 9th inning rally to beat the White Sox, 2-1.

Josh Collmenter not only threw a complete game 4 hit 1 walk shut out against the Giants, but he helped lead the Diamondbacks offense with a 3-5 day, complete with a run scored and driven in.

Justin Morneau also clubbed a HR in yesterday's game - giving him 6 HRs (like Tulo) but the big 1B has a 1 RBI lead (21 - 20).  Tulowitzki had 2 Doubles and 2 Walks to add to his perfect evening Wed,

Kyle Seager had yet another multi homer game. He drove in 4 runs, including a 3 run, come from behind, 8th inning shot that gave the Mariners a stunning 6-5 win over the Rangers.

Starlin Castro went 3-4 with a pair of homers, leading the Cubs to a 4-0 victory over the high flying Milwaukee Brewers.

Adrian Gonzalez homered in his 4th straight game, going 2-5 and drove in 3 as the Dodgers topped the Diamondbacks in Arizona (not Australia), 8-6.

Alexei Ramirez hit a 2 run, walk off, come from behind homer to give the White Sox a dramatic 4-3 win over the Indians.

Grady Sizemore went 2-4 including a dramatic 3 run homer, giving the Red Sox a 4-2 win over the Yankees in the Bronx.
