Earning Full WOBs:
Gerrit Cole fanned 14 Mariners over 7 shutout innings to set the single season strikeout mark in Astros history and earned the 3-0 decision.
Michael Conforto homered twice, including a game winning shot in the 8th, to help the Mets keep their slim playoff hopes alive beating the Marlins 5-4 in extra innings.
Mike Leake held St. Louis to 1 run over 6 innings. He was long gone from the game when the Diamondbacks walked off 3-2 in 19 innings.
José Ramírez continued his playoff tune up by smacking a pair of homers, driving in 7, to help the Indians blank the White Sox, 11-0.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Elvis Andrus reached base 4 times, driving in 2 and scoring 2 runs but the Rangers dropped the 12-10 slug fest with Boston.
Jack Flaherty took a no hitter into the 7th and finished with 7 innings of 1 hit, shutout ball, striking out 11 Diamondbacks. The Cardinals bullpen blew the lead in the 9th and the game went on for a crazy 19 innings before Arizona walked off, 3-2.
Brad Miller homered twice, driving in 4 runs, in the 6-5 Phillies loss to the Nationals in the double header nightcap. He had gone 1 for 3 in the 4-1 opening game defeat.
Spencer Turnbull held the Twins to 2 runs over 6 innings but took the hard luck 4-2 decision for Detroit.

Jake Arrieta pitched into the 9th and finished with 8 innings, allowing 2 runs while striking out 3 Mets to earn the 3-2 decision for Philadelphia.
Javier Baez went 2 for 4, homered and drove in 2 to help the Cubs blank the Marlins, 6-0.
Carlos Carrasco tossed 7 shutout innings, giving up 3 hits while striking out 12 Mariners for the 1-0 Cleveland win.
Brandon Lowe doubled and homered, driving in 3 runs and scoring 2 as the Rays beat the Orioles, 8-1.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Tim Anderson homered with style and drove in 2 but the White Sox dropped the contentious 4-3 game to Kansas City.
Steven Duggar went 2 for 5 with a homer in the Giants 9-6 defeat by Washington.
Kevin Gausman struck out 10 Diamondbacks in 7 innings, allowing 3 hits, 1 walk and 2 runs but the Braves came up short, 2-1.
Spencer Turnbull allowed 2 hits and 1 unearned run in 6 strong innings. He did not get the decision as Detroit fell to Pittsburgh, 3-2.
