Anthony Rizzo collected 3 hits, including a homer, driving in a pair to help the red hot Cubs top the Mets, 7-4.
Carlos Rodon allowed 2 hits and 2 runs over 7 innings to give the White Sox a 6-2 win over the Yankees.
Chris Stratton threw 8 shutout innings, striking out 6 and earning the 2-0 decision as San Francisco blanked Arizona.

Daniel Mengden threw 8 strong innings, allowing 6 hits and 1 run, striking out 6 White Sox and earned the 8-1 decision for Oakland.

The A’s had 7 All Stars in 2014. After today’s deal of Scott Kazmir, only the injured Sean Doolittle is left.
The Astros made a smart deal to improve and the A’s did the right thing by selling at the peak value.
