This slate is not a very good one. The pitching is not good and it might be for the best to just take a break from DFS and come back strong on Friday. Alas, we will still try to break down some of the plays we like tonight.
Daily Matchups for 7/21/2016
Pitcher
STUDS
Stephen Strasburg– Stras comes into tonight 13-0 with a 2.51 ERA along with 114 IP, allowing 80 hits, 33 walks, 138 Ks and a terrific matchup against the Dodgers. Lifetime against them he’s held them to a .193 BA (11 for 57) with a 23.3% K rate, 3.3% W Rate with 14 Ks and no home runs. He comes in at a hefty price but there’s a reason, he’s been dominating.
MID RANGE
Adam Wainwright– There’s not a ton of things to like about this slate but hopefully Waino is one of them. He’s facing a Padres’ team that struggles more against right handed pitchers and Wainwright has held them to a .226 BA (21 for 93) with a 16.8% K Rate. He’s struck out 17 and given up only 2 HRs.
VALUE
Julio Urias– He’s getting called up tonight and hasn’t faced the Nats much but he has faced them to a .188 BA (3 for 16). He’s a cheap option and has struck out 6 of the 16 batters he’s faced.
Jerad Eickhoff– GPP only. He’s held the Marlins to a .194 BA (7 for 36) with a 17.9% K rate and a 5.1% W Rate. He’s struck out 7 batters and given up only 1 HR. He’s again, only a tournament option.

One of the biggest blunders made by many gamblers is betting against themselves. We are going to simplify the process, so if you win, you can really win – none of this barely break even nonsense.
Our new Draft Strategy is now here. Please read after the post. You can use our formula for your own wanted and given stacks and pitchers. This process wheels them all in alignment.
Now here is what we are going to do for today’s MLB DFS FanDuel style.
We Will Give You – Daily
3 – 7 team stacking options ( We are going to draw most of our players from these squads).

If you are looking for daily picks in roster form for DraftKings exclusively, our DK preferred site is dynastydigest.sportsblog.com

Daily Matchups for 7/20/2016
Pitcher
STUDS
Carlos Carrasco – Normally it’s hard for us here at dailyrotohelp.com to suggest pitchers against the Kansas City Royals but they are banged up and aren’t playing well this year. Carrasco has been able to hold the Royals to a .245 BA (38 for 155) with 44 strikeouts, 37 groundouts, a 25.7% K Rate to go along with a miniscule 7% Walk Rate. He’s only allowed 6 HRs in the 155 ABs and comes in with a great opportunity to go 6+ innings, 6+ Ks and the potential for the W which is an extra bonus on FD.
Kyle Hendricks – When you think stud pitching you don’t think Hendricks but he has been pitching well as of late and could get the run support needed to take down the Mets. Lifetime against them, he’s held them to a .195 BA (8 hits in 41 ABs) with a 17.8% K-rate, 2.2% Walk rate and 8 Ks with no HRs given up. It’s not a great pitching slate to look for the Studs we had on Monday night so be prepared.
MID RANGE
Marcus Stroman – Stroman gets to to face a terrible D-backs team. He’s only faced 4 batters and hasn’t given up a hit. There’s not much else to go on here so use him with caution if needed.
Michael Pineda– Which Pineda shows up to this game? The one who struck out 16 of these Orioles’ bats last season, or the one who can give up 16 hits in 1 game? Lifetime against Baltimore Pineda has given up a .281 BA (36 for 128) with 41 Ks (30.1% K-Rate) with a 3.7% Walk Rate while giving up 7 HRs. He gets to face Chris Davis so that could be 1 HR to go along with 3-4 Ks just from him. He’s more of a fringe cash play and more heavily used for GPPs tonight.
VALUE
Jeremy Hellickson – It almost pains me to put his name as he’s not been great in the past, but it seems like he turned things around this season. He’s facing a Marlins’ team that is very up and down this season. Hellickson has held the Marlins to a .213 BA (26 for 122) with a 14.1% K-rate and a 3.9% Walk Rate. Hellickson has induced 31 groundouts, 20 flyouts, 18 strikeouts and 14 lineouts to go along with only 2 HRs.
Felix Hernandez – The real question will be “Which King Felix do we get tonight?” He’s fresh off the DL and gets a nice matchup against the sliding White Sox. When Felix was good he has held them to a .241 BA (26 for 108) with an 18.6% K-Rate, 5.1% Walk Rate with 22 strikeouts, 27 groundouts, 19 singles, and only 2 HRs.

Daily Matchups for 7/18/2016
Pitcher
STUDS
Jose Fernandez- He is facing a Phillies team that he has dominated in the past. Fernandez has held them to a .238 BA (10 for 42) while striking out 12 and not allowing an extra base hit. He’s the pitcher of the night.
Chris Sale- Is coming off a bad start against the Braves but he’s facing a Mariners’ team that he’s held to 17 hits in 81 ABs (.210 BA). He’s let a lot of people down lately but is in prime position to help a team. He’s $1,100 cheaper than Fernandez and $300 more expensive than Kluber. If you can pair him up with cheap bats, we could be in store for a great night for pitching!
Corey Kluber- Kluber has faced the Royals twice so far this year and has fared well for the most part. He faced them on June 15th and lasted only 5 innings while giving up 8 hits, walking 1, striking out 7 and got only 21 FP on Fanduel. Back on June 5th Kluber pitched 5 innings giving up only 2 hits while striking out 6 and securing the win and 48 FP. We’re hoping he gets the same results as his June 5th outing.
MID RANGE
Mike Fiers- Love Fiers as a very under-owned option for Monday’s slate. He’s facing the Atheletics who struggle at times. Lifetime against the A’s, Fiers has held them to a .230 BA (14 for 61) with 14 Ks and 10 ground outs. He has a 21.5% K percentage and makes an intriguing GPP option. He’s coming off a terrible start against Seattle lasting only 3.1 innings, giving up 5 hits and only 10 FPs and that could put his ownership down less than 10% tonight which is what it’ll take to take down a GPP.
Jon Lester- Lester is facing the terrible Mets who love to strike out. Lester has held them to a .254 BA (52 for 205) while striking out 50 and a 21.7% K rate. Lester has struggled his past couple of starts and could deter people away from him, we look for him to have a great game tonight.
VALUE
Mike Leake- He’s not always an attractive option but he does get a matchup against the Padres. Leake has held them to a .231 BA (15 hits in 65 ABs) while striking out 17 and giving up only 2 HRs. Love him for a very cheap option to load up on bats.

Daily Matchups for 7/9/2016
Pitcher
STUDS
Max Scherzer – Easily the top pitcher on the day. Mets haven’t been hitting well of late. Should get plenty of strikeouts and a shot at the W.
Carlos Martinez – Brewers have combined to hit 13-56 of Martinez, and are one of the worst offenses vs. RHP’s this season.
MID RANGE
Danny Salazar – Right now the Yankees offense is a hot mess. Only down fall here is they don’t strike out much, which limits his upside. More of a GPP play here.
Lance McCullers – McCullers has great strikeout numbers but at 4 walks per 9, it runs that pitch count up in a hurry that being said, a matchup with Oakland could offer some nice fantasy value.
VALUE
Rick Porcello – Only there Rays really have good match ups vs. the Boston righty, but the Rays as a whole have been horrible this season vs. righties. Porcello is in play in cash and GPP for me today.

We enter another 4 days before the ALL Star Break where we have 4 straight slates that will carry Coors Field on them. We are always going to advise doing a bunch of team stacks wheeled with each other, including Colorado, and we are also recommending you enter all single entry (or low entries max tournaments.)
You at least have a fighting chance to won some money playing FanDuel, with a heavy emphasis on HRs and pitcher wins. Forget about playing against all of the sharps and rosters on DraftKings. Below we have a full write up on Coors Field for you to read.

just have to say that Dallas Keuchel, Josh Donaldson, Troy Tulowitzki, Giancarlo Stanton and Rickie Weeks saved our bacon from a sheer butt kicking Tuesday night. Since we used such cheap pitchers, we were able to use Donaldson on 23 rosters out of 63, and liked Stanton so much we placed him on the same amount. Since we had Dallas Keuchel, it made up for longshots Carlos Rodon and Mike Foltynewicz being so poor. We almost broke even on the night.
It is another reason why the formula works. We have the link at the top of every Fanduel Article and this page. You have 30 – 63 Rosters, and you hope 2 – 3 have a chance to win on any night. The more lineups we put in with stacks being wheeled, the more times a unique player comes up on the board with little ownership, that may go off and be the difference in winning a GPP.
We like playing the $1 and $3 Sac Fly contests, because this system is situated for it. @mlbreports
Another rule of thumb is to have 10 or 12 players to have in mind for filling our rosters. 3 – 4 expensive players, 3 – 4 midlevel and 3 -4 bargains, that can be combined with the two team stacks per roster. Use the, as much as you can. If need be check the quick player replace to see how many times you have used a player once you have completed all of your lineups. Read the rest of this entry

Let’s Build The New DailyRotoHelp– https://www.gofundme.com/dailyrotohelp
Daily Matchups for 6/28/2016
Pitcher
Corey Kluber– Kluber comes into this matchup with an extra days rest after he dominated the Rays for 9 innings and 9 Ks where he threw 115 pitches. In that matchup he had 66 FP on Fanduel and 44.3 FP on DraftKings. Kluber has fared well against the Braves in his lifetime as he’s only given up a .242 BA (15 for 62) with 15 Ks, and 5 walks against the current Braves roster. He’s the highest priced pitcher on DK and 2nd highest on FD. He’s expensive, but has a terrific matchup on paper.
Jon Lester– Lester is coming off of a matchup against Miami where he pitched 7 innings, 7 Ks, and had 36 FP on FD and 21 FP on DK. He’s held this Reds’ rost to a .238 BA (29 for 122) while striking out 31 and only walking 2. He makes a better matchup on FD but he is the most expensive pitcher on the slate over there. He’s averaging 42.13 FP on FD and we love him over there tonight.
Jose Quintana– He makes a terrific play against the Twins who were dominated by Yankees’ pitching over the weekend. As both of these teams are in the AL Central, they see a ton of each other. Quintana has held the Twins to a .238 BA (39 for 164) while striking out 38 and walking 14. He’s coming off of a terrible outing against Boston last Wednesday where he pitched 5.1 innings givine up 8 hits, 6 walks, 1 K and only 1 FP on FD. This very reason should leave him very under-owned and a terrific mid-priced play to avoid some bats.
Rick Porcello– Porcello has been extremely surprising this season as he’s had some terrific games. He’s coming off a 10 FP performance against the White Sox so people will see that and probably shy away a little bit. Although, he is facing a terrible Rays team. Lifetime Porcello has given up a .274 (32 for 117) BA with 28 Ks but that was when the Rays were doing well. He’s a great cash-game play tonight.
Lucas Giolito– Giolito is the number 3 prospect in all of baseball. He’s making his debut against a lowly Mets team that strike out a ton. He’s actually faced the Mets 1 time in Spring Training and actually got 21 FP on FD. Obviously these numbers don’t mean anything since it was Spring Training but we like him as a GPP play tonight.
Kyle Gibson– This is a name that could surprise you but Gibson has been able to hold the White Sox to a .190 BA (20 for 105) lifetime and comes in a $5600 on FD. He’s had back to back 20+ FP games and I wouldn’t be surprised if he was less than 10% owned tonight. Extremely cheap means you can afford almost any big bat you want.

Why FanDuel Is My Preferred Game Of Choice For Our MLB DFS Strategy

The MLB Reports knows it is hard to put together a lineup when you receive your ‘best’ information so late from so called ‘experts’ in the industry. We intend to be innovators of doing this the earliest. Sure stuff changes overnight, however the base knowledge is there, and you can flip the intel around until lineup lock sets in.
BY Hugh Hawkins:
It is not a lie that I like the scoring system at Fanduel a lot better for how we run our rosters each day of 9, 15, 21, 50 or 63 rosters. The key is to make sure you plunk down your money early on the $1 and $3 Sac Fly – in order to fulfill your entries limit needs. We always go back when we have the time to fill each one out.
FanDuel also only makes you have one Starting Pitcher in the mix, while DraftKings makes you win 2. Based on our formula, it is derived more off positional players going off, than it is for Starting Positions. Anyways, with using 3 or 5 pitchers also has you roster 40 – 60 % of the a pitcher on the slate. Should one pitcher blow up – it sinks all of your awesome work done on stacking teams.
If we have 3 pitchers – than one pitcher only represents 33.33% of our rosters, 5 pitchers is only 20% and 7 pitchers is about 14.3%. It puts more onus on the hitters determining if you win or not, the whole reason to throw down on so many entries.
There are many of us implementing our system each day now, and we have been on the verge of raking in some big time prizes. Since we use all of the guys on a team we stack for, if a lower named player goes off, or even 2 guys. that may be the difference in making a killing in a GPP tournament, as opposed to just doubling your money.
Yesterday was not a great day for us a group – but we had Jose Fernandez on all of our $3 Sac Fly (21 Rosters) and our longshot TB stack had a lot of clubs with Oswaldo Arcia and Desmond Jennings. We had those with Victor Martinez (2 HR’s), and Jose Fernandez’s 69 PTS he brought in. We were siting in the top 10 all afternoon long until a late 0 for a combined 18 ABs at the end stifled us from winning a huge amount of dough. Read the rest of this entry
