Chris Paddack went into the 8th, trying to finish the first no hitter in San Diego Padres history. He allowed a leadoff homer, his lone hit and run over 7 2/3 frames. He struck out 8 Marlins en route to a 3-2 decision.

Jurickson Profar homered twice and walked in the A’s 10-2 beating of the Mariners.

Amed Rosario reached base 4 times, including a home run, to help the Mets top Minnesota, 14-4.

Earning 1/2 WOBs:

Chris Archer struck out 8 Cardinals in 6 innings but did not factor in the decision as the Pirates fell 6-5.

Teoscar Hernández homered two times in the Blue Jays 5-4 loss in Boston.

Martín Pérez held the Mets to 1 run and 5 hits over 6 innings. The Twins bullpen collapsed and the final score was a lopsided 14-4.

Trevor Story went 3 for 5 with a homer and 2 RBI but the Rockies were out slugged by the Giants in an 11-8 final.
