Earning Full WOBs:
Shane Bieber tossed a complete game 1 hit shutout, striking out 10 as the Indians blanked the Blue Jays, 4-0.
Kole Calhoun doubled twice and homered as the Angels hung on to beat the Dodgers, 3-2.
Paul DeJong homered 3 times and added another hit, driving in 5 to help the surging Cardinals top the Pirates, 14-8.
Zac Gallen struck out 9 White Sox over 7 shutout innings to earn the 2-0 decision for the Marlins.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Nelson Cruz got on base 3 times, homered and scored twice but the Twins dropped another slug fest to the Yankees, 10-7.
Kyle Freeland allowed 1 unearned run over 6 innings, giving up just 4 hits. That was one run too many as the slumping Rockies were shutout by the Nationals, 2-0.
Reynaldo López went 8 strong innings, striking out 10 Marlins along the way. But he took the hard luck 2-0 loss for the White Sox.
Starling Marté got 4 hits and drove in 3 but the Pirates were topped by the Cardinals, 14-8.
