Earning Full WOBs:
Shane Bieber threw 8 innings, allowing 4 hits and 2 runs while fanning 8 Reds to give the Indians a 7-2 victory.
Kevin Newman went 4 for 5 with a homer and 3 RBI to help the Pirates clobber the Brewers, 12-2.
Roberto Perez collected 4 hits, including a home run, driving in 2 as the Indians topped the Reds, 7-2.
Max Scherzer struck out 11 in 7 shutout innings, allowing 4 hits and even stole a base as the Nationals blanked the Royals, 6-0.
Earning 1/2 WOBs:
Jeimer Candelario homered twice, driving in 3, but the Tigers multiple comeback bids against Boston came up short in the 10-6 final.
Kenta Maeda pitched into the 8th, finishing with 7 2/3 innings, 4 hits and 3 runs, striking out 6 Padres. He would take the hard luck 3-1 decision for the Dodgers.
Yasiel Puig went 3 for 4 with a homer in the Reds 7-2 loss to the Indians.
CC Sabathia struck out 5 Rays in 7 solid innings. He would not factor into the decision as the Yankees dropped the 4-3 game in the 9th.
